Michael Dobrov
Michael Dobrov serves as the Chief Executive Officer of UGD (United Group Development) and is actively engaged in shaping the financial and operational strategy of the Company. He provides direct oversight of acquisitions, cash management, and risk management activities and collaborates extensively in the structuring of UGD most significant financing and investment transactions. Michael played a key in reshaping Chicago’s real estate market.
He was heavily involved in the structuring and negotiation of many of the cities large commercial real estate transactions over the past ten years had began his career in real estate. Michael began working with his family in the residential market with development and sale of multi-million dollar homes all throughout the city and suburbs.
Since then, Michael has redirected his focus from residential over to commercial real estate and with now owns and manages over 2500 apartments all throughout the Midwest, as well as warehouses, parking garages and other commercial properties.
He has become one of Chicago’s most influential real estate developers and is now focusing on commercial development, financial operations, strategic planning, asset management and bringing leadership and motivation to the team at UGD.
He is also involved in several charitable and professional organizations such as, Chicagoland Habitat for Humanity (CHH), MercyHome, TRP, and Special Olympics of Illinois. Michael along with his family have put together numerous fundraisers for organizations such as, The greater Chicago Food Depository, Paws of Chicago and well as for Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Paws Chicago
